Very excited to see the win streak continue for Polar Plunge (Successful Appeal - Shakopee by Evansville Slew) who is now undefeated in three starts and whose mating was planned by yours truly. For the record, Star of the North Bloodstock either acted as mating consultant or assisted in the purchase of the top four finishers in today's Frances Genter Stakes.

Thanks Ted. The folks at Dell Ridge farm in Lexington were the ones who raised her and also kept her dam Shakopee a happy camper while she was carrying Polar Plunge. (Anyone who remembers what a fairly high maintenance mare Shakopee was can appreciate keeping her happy was no mean feat.) Russ Rhone got Polar Plunge ready for the races after she first trained for a time in Illinois. Trainer Gary Scherer has done an awesome job with her!
